Song of the Day: Georgia Mae – Keeper of the Key

Georgia Mae is a talent that you seriously need to get around. Like, a ridiculous amount is how much you need to get around her songs, ASAP. One of the greatest unearthed talents the city of Brisbane has on show; Georgia’s magnetic vibes, lusty grooves and angelic voice have the power to take you somewhere else.

Being a qualified audio engineer, producer AND a member of the nations premier choice The Australian Voices, Georgia Mae combines her internationally renowned lyric-writing & production skills with the poise, confidence and emotion that  is ridiculously hard to come across. Top this with being one of the nicest & bubbliest personalities you’ll come across and you’ll see why Georgia Mae is one of the most promising rising stars of 2016.

The music video for her biggest song to date, Keeper of the Key makes its premiere today.
The video, directed by the always amazing Danny McShane (seriously check out this guy’s other work here, pretty flippin’ insane), features some of the most visually appealing shots of the Brisbane I’ve seen.
Locating from the CBD to South Bank, from Kangaroo Point to the River and many other locations that make you think “Hey! I’ve been there!”, it omits a certain sense nostalgia(?) and hometown pride for Brisbane-ites that is really appreciated.
Alas, Keeper of the Key has received the prestigious title of being Nine Lexham’s first ever Song of the Day.

Check out the video for Georgia Mae’s Keeper of the Key below, because…. who knows….. you MAE enjoy it
