After a stellar 2016, Melbourne rockers The Cherry Dolls are back at it again with a brand new single, titled Blister.
Off the back of their acclaimed Lone Palm EP Tour on the back-end of 2016, The Cherry Dolls are once again shaping up to bring their stellar live set all across the country in celebration of new single ‘Blister‘.
On the topic of Blister, frontman Josh Aubry states;
The song itself is about the passing of a dearly beloved friend, and how certain things don’t quite make sense until something insignificant happens and the reality of the bigger picture sinks in.
Having recently played Beyond the Valley festival for NYE alongside Alex Lahey, Dune Rats, DZ Deathrays, Harts, Ladyhawke and Total Giovanni, the boys’ addictively energetic playing style has also landed them as main support for Aus legends Spiderbait‘s Melbourne show on one of their upcoming Ivy & The Big Apples Tour.
“The Cherry Dolls Played an epic set; Aubry completely reminiscent (prepare for a huge call) of Mick Jagger at his peak” – TheMusic.com.au
“…quenching Melbourne’s thirst for straight up no nonsense rock n’ roll” – Tone Deaf.
“Cherry Dolls stepped up to put on ferocious performances” – Rolling Stone.
