Melbourne five-piece The Cherry Dolls are hitting the road, all the way up the east coast of Australia in celebration of the most recent EP Lone Palm.
With only half the EP written, the boys flew over to Los Angeles to find further inspiration, where the rest of the seven- track offering was written and recorded. Front man Josh Aubry states “I think we work best under pressure and when we have to force things to happen. That’s when the real magic happens”.
Lone Palm is the band’s most sophisticated work yet, discussing themes that range from falling in and out of love, all the way through to the acceptance of learning to be happy to be alone.
This matured outlook showcased throughout Lone Palm is also set to transpose into the tour celebrating its release, with Aubry claiming;
“For the first time in our short lives we are prepared for this tour. New songs, new vibes a new found passion. We feel in the last year we have matured as a band and really know what we are trying to get across to the people now. Don’t worry, the chaos will still be there, it will always be there”.
