Brisbane-based fuzz-punks Whiplash are composed of Jacob Ryan (Vocals), Mundie Bria (Guitar), Eoghan Leonard (Guitar), Michael Tunny (Bass) & Joao Pedro Rodrigues (Drums).

They formed in high school, under the alias ‘Pigeon Fight Club’, and have since undergone a transformation into what is now known as Whiplash.

After jamming and mastering their craft at small get-togethers on the odd occasion, Whiplash played their first show at Brisbane’s The Foundry in 2017.

Since then, they’ve shared the stage with bands like Bleeding Knees Club, Harlem (USA), Amyl and The Sniffers & Fight Ibis, alongside tearing up backyards at countless house parties.

Through this, they’ve built up a cult following in the underground Brisbane music scene. In June 2018, Whiplash will be releasing their debut single ‘Bangkok Dangerous’.
